Question:  When does Dan give out his selections?
Answer:

The times in this can vary for both NFL and NBA selections. Some NFL selections can be given out as early as Sunday night/Monday morning for the next week's games. It is strongly suggested that clients have places where they can make NFL bets at that time. Early NFL bargains are known to disappear. NFL selections can be given out as late as shortly before game-time.

In the NBA selections can be made as early as shortly after noon Pacific time for action for the next day's games. Again, it is strongly suggested that clients have betting outlets that take wagers at this time as early bargains often disappear quickly. Some selections can be sent out overnight for the next day's action as well. Nearly all NBA selections are made by within an hour of game-time.

On ALL selections, strike prices are mentioned. Dan tries to notify customers when strike prices that were not previously available become available.

ALL selections are mass e-mailed to clients who will be automatically notified with e-mail hookups like "Blackberry's." Also if we are given your cell phone number (of course kept confidential by us!!), you will be notified by that as soon as selections are sent out.

Question:  How much are your fees?
Answer:           NFL is $600 for the season (which includes all regular season and playoff games, as well as any propositions Dan likes).  The weekly rate is $60 and the monthly (4 weeks) rate is $200.  The NBA is $750 for the season.  Weekly and monthly rates are the same as for the NFL.  If one wants to purchase both entire seasons, the cost is $1100, which is a $250 savings.
Question:  How many NFL games are selected by Dan?
Answer:           This can vary widely.  Nearly all weeks have at least one selection, and some weeks can have as many as six or seven.
Question:  How many NBA selections are made by Dan?
Answer:           This can vary even more than in the NFL.  It is rare that more than three selections are made for any one day.  There are times when Dan might feel that there are no good betting investments for his clients in the NBA for a few consecutive days.
Question:  How are selections graded as far as wins/losses are concerned?
Answer:           With each selection that Dan makes in the NFL as well as the NBA, clients are told at what price the game is a selection.  Dan also tells clients when to bet his selections (often told to bet as soon as possible but sometimes are told to wait).  The selection counts in the record only if the price Dan stipulates is available for a fair amount of time (from the time clients are alerted) with at least some on-line sports books. On all selections, Dan tells clients how strongly to play them. Selections are rated as small, normal (the vast majority), or large plays.
Question:  What does Dan post for clients outside of selections?
Answer:

In the NFL Dan posts a weekly roundup posted in the Discussion site every Wednesday night. In this roundup Dan covers the following: 1) League-wide power ratings as well as power ratings for each game, 2) Analysis of all selections made, 3) Opinions on all games that are not selections, 4) All of the "dues" (dues are discussed at great length in Dan's "Beat the Sports Books") for the week are mentioned.

For NFL selections made after Wednesday night, Dan provides analysis as soon as possible. Also Dan answers any NFL questions posted by clients that are on the NFL/Discussion board.

In the NBA season, Dan starts listing league-wide power ratings around the sixth week of the season. They are usually listed on each Thursday night of the season thereafter. On select occasions (when time permits) Dan shares his analysis of NBA selections. And as in the NFL, clients' questions on the NBA/Discussion board are all answered by Dan.
